MaKenzie Harnage - Crazy & Cute

It has been several years back now....

We lived in Columbia Tennessee and Johnboy and Nicole had come for a visit.  All the adults was playing football and Kenzie and I had so much fun playing together and taking all those pictures.  She has never been camera shy!  It was so cold that day both our little noses where red.

MaKenzie Harnage - Kenzie's Candy Making

I scrapbooked MaKenie's first time making candy.

We had so much fun on the fourth of July.  We also made cotton candy in her little cotton candy machine and loved every little bite of it.  She is so smart.  She loves it when we spend time togehter and do things that are fun!  It just doesn't get any sweeter than this.

Elkin Harnage - The Love of My Life - Vintage look

I Love Elkin with all my heart...
outside of Jesus...He is my everything....
I can remember when I was growing up
dreaming of one day marrying a man
who would love me... and protect me....
and just love me for me.... and he has
truly been everything I could have ever
dreamed of and wanted.

My first time Scrapbooking

I will never forget the first time I was going to try scrapbooking.   I was heading over to my Mom's to meet my cousin Judy Dykes from Fitzgerald, Ga..  I knew she was a Scrapbooker and had done this for quite some time.  I had my little yellow Dollar General bag with a few items and that was all the scrapbooking supplies I presently owned.  Well I left that day with a box full of all kind of goodies!

Judy had given me ribbon and buttons.... and oh my goodness I fell in love with buttons.  I wanted them on every single page.  I left with all kind of flowers and cut outs from her Cricut machine.  I will never forget that day.  It started a love deep in me to preserve my memories on pages.  I guess my scrapbook collection has grown a little.   I now have an entire room that is my scrapbooking room and I enjoy my time in there.  I now own a Cricut Expression and I have had it serveral years now and I love it!  Oh what money it has saved my honey:)  I own a Cuttlebug and  a Sizzix Sidekick machine for cutting cute little things out.  I own several punches, sparkling glue, glitter glues, brads, eyelets, an assortment of journaling pens, close to my heart stamp sets, bling bling, all sorts of little gadgets, distress inks and stamping inks, flowers and to much more to mention.  Along way from a little yellow Dollar General bag.

I will stop and say this "I am a shopper and I have purchased a lot of my items at yard sales and on clearance racks at Hobby Lobby, Michael's and JoAnn's, etc.

Scrapbooking is really different for each individual.  Each of us have our own styles when it comes to creating scrapbook pages.  I love building my pages around my pictures.  I get my pictures in my hand and then I start choosing my colors for my pages.  I sometimes use idea books but most of the time I  just sit down and let creativity take over and BOOM there it is.... this beautiful page with my family and friends on it.   Scrapbooking is so much fun for me.  I truly enjoy it and want to encourage others with ideas and help them if needed.    T
